In November 2022, Spark To Your Success returned to Painsley Catholic School in Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent, to deliver an assembly to inspire and motivate the Year 10 students and help them understand the benefits of good mental health and developing a positive mindset for their future careers.
At Spark To Your Success, our goal is to empower young people to become confident individuals in business, community, and as family leaders. By having the opportunity to hold assemblies for young people, we hope to raise awareness surrounding topics of mental health for students’ future career paths. With this in mind, we were delighted to be invited back to Painsley Catholic School, after previously hosting events there and creating a positive impact on the students.
The assembly focused on Resilience Training, enabling 14 and 15-year-old students to consider the importance of developing resilience in their career journey and for their future careers, all while understanding, nurturing and maintaining a positive mindset. Highlighting the value of mental health, Spark To Your Success believes taking care of your mental health can have just as positive an impact on both the students and staff as a great education can.
Leading up to the event, Spark To Your Success worked closely with the school to concentrate on topics that were not already included in the school curriculum, such as career resilience and mental health. By raising awareness around these topics, students gain a better insight into balancing mental health with a future career.
We were thrilled to receive wonderful feedback from both the teachers and the students. They told us the assembly was fun, informative and delivered in an engaging way. We hope this will inspire students as they make the transition to adulthood.
