In October, Spark To Your Success was thrilled to be nominated for an award at Breaking the Mould 2022.
Held at Keele University, Breaking the Mould Awards is an event dedicated to growing innovation-led organisations, businesses, not-for-profits and charities. The nominations have all benefitted from the innovative support programmes available at Keele University.
Spark To Your Success were nominated for the Social Inclusion Award, which recognises and celebrates the most innovative new service or product that will have a substantial impact on social inclusion. Spark To Your Success was nominated for creating an innovative service in the form of the Careering Into the Future game, which was shortlisted for the award.
The game app was inspired by our Careering Into the Future programme, which brings together young adults who are struggling to find work or who have lost their jobs during the pandemic. The programme helps young adults have that extra spark when seeking employment. The programme is more than just a traditional career course because throughout this programme we take into account each individual’s interests, talents and skills to help them define their ambitions and understand their self-worth.
Spark To Your Success is proud of the amazing accolade and it was encouraging to be recognised alongside so many other inspirational organisations and businesses. We are so please to be nominated for the impact that this interactive app will have on the lives of so many young people.
During the event, Pam Green and Sophie Simmonds were able to make significant connections, as other organisations recognised and appreciated the innovative concept of the game and what it will achieve, but they also valued the overall vision of Spark To Your Success. The team were congratulated for their amazing achievement at being shortlisted as finalists while feeling supported by the award attendees and organisations who are excited to see the launch of Careering Into The Future Game.
